Pausing OhTWIST group Dec 1st 2024

Hi all, I’m sorry to say but due to both personal and national (US) changing circumstances, I’m feeling overwhelmed and unable to keep up managing my beloved Private OhTWIST support group on Facebook that we’ve run for over ten years. I WILL keep my Public OhTWIST Facebook PAGE going with the latest news as best I can, but that is not private. So please post carefully there, the whole world can read what you write. (It is a public page, not a private group.)

I’m not going to delete the group, but just pause it for now, on December 1st, 2024, indefinitely. (The technical Facebook term is “suspend”.) This freezes all activity, so no one can like, post, or comment on anything, and we can’t add anyone new then either.

But pre-existing members can remain and still search for pre-existing answers within the group still. I just can’t add any new folks. (It is private and closed, so outsiders cannot see what we’ve posted.)

I’m very sorry for any disruption to your support if you’re one of my great members. (It’s been a really great group, huge thanks to my crack admin team, thank you all!) And maybe one day I can pick it back up again, but not right now.

Thanks for your understanding and support all these years. I am keeping this blog and my Patreon page going still, no worries. And I can definitely (nay desperately) use your support at any level, one-off or ongoing still too, thank you. (To those who can’t, no worries – I see and feel you too. I know so many of us are barely scraping by.)

The US is entering a new chapter. I hope I can keep up here for years to come. I’m going to try.
